The Sweet Land, final major project for university. iOS game concept about a wartime sweetshop where the elderly shop owner embarks on a journey of self re-discovery within his youthful memories to escape his desolate surroundings and be reunited with his sweetheart. The gameplay takes place inside his memories, lands of pure colour themed after traditional sweets, where the aim is to guide his younger self through the abstract environment by dragging and connecting paths of the same colour. The game menu takes place inside the empty sweetshop, built of white paper in stark contrast to the gameplay.
